Our client contacted us following structural issues with the existing chimney. The bcstone team carried out a safe takedown and full rebuild, reusing the original London Stock bricks to preserve the property’s character and maintain the original design.
The existing steelwork on both sides had developed cracks, allowing water ingress and corrosion to form. Our team carefully cut away the defective moulding, mechanically cleaned the steel, and applied a specialist metal paint to protect against further corrosion.
We then carried out detailed repair work to reinstate the moulding — matching the original profile seamlessly.
